Saskia and I landed safely in Riga last night! After having said goodbye to our parents and boyfriends, we could start our new adventure! And we already had an adventure... :) It started by sitting at the wrong gate. Saskia noticed it when she wanted to take a picture of the airplane... 'Do we fly with Hungarian Airlines?' A quick look on the screen, which said 'Budapest', made us move really quickly to our own gate :) Never trust the boarding ticket... Luckily our flight was delayed!
We left Brussels at 21.oo and we landed in Riga at 24.00 local time. We had to wait 30 minutes for our bags. They also arrived safely in Riga! Then we took a taxi from the airport to our hostel... taxi driver was not drunk, but didn't drive straight either. Maybe it was the time of the day? We arrived at the hostel around 1.00... We checked in and went up to our room, which was already quite an expedition, with 4 heavy bags, stairs and a tiny elevator, Saskia opened the door and a guy in boxershorts jumped up from a bed in the room... total shock :D They forgot to enter his check-in into the computer... 30 minutes later we could finaly enter an empty room and fall asleep :D
Today we are going to discover Riga... I'll keep you posted!

Toch maar eens reageren op je blogje. Blij om te zien dat ik tussen de 'precious friends' sta die je gaat missen :-). Maar wij missen u hier ook al hoor. Vandaag ben ik met Anne gaan shoppen, en we hebben een wafeltje (Anne een pannenkoek) gegeten.
Het gaat toch raar zijn zonder u op de fanfare, maar... ik zal mijn uiterste best doen om regelmatig eens foto's te trekken van de gebeurtenissen en u te laten zien hoe het er hier aan toe gaat.

maar, aangezien jij al de nodige ervaring heb vermoed ik wel dat je een gezellig plaatsje gaat vinden!
daarover moeten we ons wel weinig zorgen maken denk ik!
maak er nu maar vier supermaanden van, dat je een mooie ervaring opdoet!
btw, is super leuk dat je al fototjes hebt geplaatst en al zoveel vertelt! nu, zoals pauline al zei, laat u is gaan, want jij hoort absoluut mee in die top drie::d
